The Family Fourth of July Show...'Krackers, Kids, and Kain!

Family...what a blessing it is to have such wonderful people in our lives. No one takes the time to thank family for what they are...unconditional love, laughter, and all-around good memories! The Burnett family is no exception. Spending weekends and holidays with this crew is never lacking for fun...from family discussions about our newly discovered heritage, to "dayworks" and homemade ice cream, from "more" demands from sweet Rylie Jo to basketball tournaments in the pool (when you score, Cade and Ben, too, get points), from rides in the new "pimp mobile" to the night display's "opening act", from "sugar highs" to "sparks on Pops", and from "heads bigger than newborn babies" to the always needed, "We 'joyed you." We are genuinely thankful for these memories...and thanks must be given to the ones who started this whole "mess"...especially to the "little naked boy sitting in front of the tee-pee"...without you, we would be lost!!! ;)

As Cade relaxes after his impressive "dayworks" display, Rylie Jo takes her turn at entertaining the family. However, it seems that Miss Pearl is the only one interested. (Take notice of Mommy and Aunt Amy in the background...too interested in their own "dayworks" display...give it up ladies...you are adults.) ;)

Great Aunt Kristi and Kain take a break from the 4th of July fun...perhaps the newly discovered heritage was too much excitement for these two.

Again, Amy Sue attempts to "dazzle" the family with her extravagant 4th of July tricks. Note to the viewer, it is just a smoke bomb...she is not running through anything "cool" like a black cat or even a fountain. ;) Rylie Jo, though, does seem to be impressed. Her mom is AMAZING!

Always the center of attention, Rylie Jo entertains her fans with the always popular "pink pig." Grammy, Meems, and Pops are very impressed...as you can tell, Grammy can't wait to get her hands on the impressive pig.

Pops, Meems, and Kain...
(And yes, she is an AVID OSU fan...she even LOVES Mike Gundy!)
;)

WHAT A WEEKEND...
WHAT A FAMILY!

Amy, your comments in the newest blog are right on! Somehow we sound one brick short of a full load....guess that's what keeps it fun and entertaining. Never a dull moment!

Those Burnetts are quite the characters. That's about all I have to say!
