Kain: A Basketful of Blessings...

Like all his holidays, Kain celebrated this one in STYLE! Easter weekend started early for this little party-er with the birth of a new cousin...Beau Asher (cousin Rylie's new little bro). Because of Beau's arrival, Miss Rylie Jo graced Kain with her presence for the weekend! Friday evening consisted of a visit from Rylie and a long night's sleep...Saturday was going to be a looooong drive for all parties involved! Early Saturday morning, Kain and his parents visited Promenade Mall for the ever needed Easter Bunny picture. Once Kain showed his missing pearly whites, the crew headed down the highway to Woodward, Oklahoma. Around the Stillwater exit, his caravan caught up with none other than PaPa, Grammy (or as Rylie refers to her...Dammy), Rylie Jo, and Kain's FAVORITE, Aunt Amy!!! The group stopped for lunch in Enid...then made their way to Uncle Greg's and Aunt Becky's in the late afternoon. Kain was greeted by MANY admiring fans...Emily, Max, Lily, Sam, Ella, Cooper, Ben, Ryder, Ruby, and Brock...along with the "old folks" who were a little less important. ;) That evening consisted of egg coloring, food eating, anniversary celebrating, and story telling. The evening was capped off with a night's stay in the WHITE hotel, Miss Emily's favorite...or so she told her Great Uncle Steve. Kain and Rylie stayed up late sharing stories....or mainly Rylie shared stories...she likes to tell her Aunt Ashley to "hush!" =) Sunday, sadly, was the end of this marvelous weekend. Easter service and lunch were followed by the long trip home from Woodward, Oklahoma. No matter how terrible the HOURS spent in the car may have seemed, seeing family and celebrating the birth of his Savior made it all worth while...
