Kain KNOWS : I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich.

The purpose of creating this blog was to chronicle the important aspects of Kain's life (with a few minor and less important posts here and there). Readers(or viewers, for some of you) have been able to witness Kain's adventures from the trials of bed rest to his milestone of reaching one year of life...healthy, happy, and WILD! Through the posts and the last year, hopefully there has been one common thread that links all the posts together...Kain's LOVE of FAMILY! It was family that sparked the creation of this blog, family who has offered love, time, energy, and most importantly, prayer for this little guy, and it is family who will consistently be there in the future. So, as we ALL would love more pictures of Kainiac and his one-year-old antics, Kain has requested that this blog post be dedicated to someone else...a very important family member in need of prayer.


You have been there for us all offering hugs, words of encouragement, laughs, family "spottings" at the mall the days after Thanksgiving, stories about our "silly" grandparents and great aunts (mainly Nanny and Aunt Polly ;) ...), handshakes, smiles, peace, and comfort. You watched us grow and develop into adults, you've been at our showers, our weddings, our holiday get-togethers, and most importantly, you even offer the same love, comfort, and affection to our children. However, above all this, you offer prayers...you never forget us in our time of need and we thank you and love you for that. One year ago we were in desperate need of prayer because our little guy was struggling to survive in a low fluid, unsafe environment...his safety and health were on the line...and because you are faithful and selfless, always putting others' needs before your own, you prayed for our little guy. And now, he is LIVING proof that prayer WORKS! You are a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, confidant, and friend. You are OUR Aunt Sherry and we love you.


So, here's to you, Aunt Sherry...we know that life has brought many obstacles your way lately but we have faith in a gracious and loving God who works all things for His Glory. You are NEVER forgotten in our daily prayers and we think of you every day. We are wishing you hope, safety, joy, comfort, peace, healing, and the love of family. It is our turn to pray for you...and faithfully, you are in our prayers.


Thank you for being an amazing woman we all can admire...
